Stencil Techniques with Sheri

Evening Session: 6pm
In-store 100 Ringwood Drive, Stouffville

Come join us for an evening of creative fun, learning about ink blending and stenciling, using an amazing kit by Hero Arts (valued at $34.99) and a few extra supplies. Sheri will take you through 4 different stenciling and ink blending techniques, and you will learn about layering colour, how to get a nice blend, and other tips for using stencils. We'll talk about different blending tools, different inks and what to use when. Time permitting, you can transform your stencilled pieces into cards following samples provided by Sheri, or take home to finish later.

TECHNIQUES WE'LL LEARN:
- Basic Blending with a stencil
- Tone on Tone Blending
- Ombre Blending
- Masking

IN YOUR KIT:
- 5 Hero Arts Mini Cube inks: Orchid, Grape Juice, Creamsicle, Taffy and Green Apple
- 5 blending brushes
- 1 layering stencil set (3 layers)
- White and coloured cardstock for finishing your cards

STUDENTS TO BRING:
- Best Ever Craft tape (medium or wide) or wide washi tape for holding your stencil and for masking
- Favourite adhesive - tape runner, liquid glue - your choice
- Paper trimmer and scissors
- Soft microfibre cloth for cleaning stencils
- Pencil and eraser
- 4 A2 card bases (optional)
- Black Journaling Pen (optional)
- Corner Rounder (optional)
- Baggie or pouch to take home your completed projects
