Join Krafty Kris for her SECOND foundational class using Distress Watercolour Pencils, which can be taken on its own or added to your techniques experience from the first class.  She will take you through a variety of techniques, using the pencils as colouring tools directly on the paper to create interesting backgrounds in your work. This class has some bonus content that will be available in the FB group.

Techniques will include:

·      The perfect straight edge

·      Bubbles and baubles

·      Soft rainbows

·      Wax resist

·      Pastel colours the right way

·      Bokeh backgrounds

In class, you will build or add to your own “cheat sheet” of techniques, which you can continue to develop in future classes, and then apply what you’ve learned to create a finished project, featuring a beautiful bokeh background with daisies which will be provided to you electronically.

Completion of Techniques PART ONE is not necessary but encouraged.  To register and take this class, held in October 2024, CLICK HERE.

Class will be held in a private Facebook group.  A Facebook account is required.  Homework posts, questions-and-answers and student sharing will all take place in this group. Class video will be recorded and available in this group when class is complete.

This is an ACCESS ONLY class and does not include a kit or supplies.  Registration in this class will not be included in free shipping of your order.

STUDENT SUPPLIES

Listed below are the supplies needed to successfully participate in the class.  You may choose to use other supplies, however, please note that results may vary.

·      Tim Holtz Distress Watercolour Pencils – Kris will be using Set #1, plus black &

       White (already in set #1), and additional dark green

·      Prism Studios Watercolour paper – or other paper of your choice

·      Selection of round brushes

·      ¾” blender tool with pad (Kris is using the TH Tiny Blending Tool) or you can use cotton make-up pad or small sponge make-up pad **bristled blending brushes will not work**

·      Paint palette or craft mat for mixing

·      Paper towel

·      2 containers of water

·      Black permanent marker and ruler

·      Pencil and non-marking eraser and sharpener

·      Low-tack tape and regular cello tape used for gift wrapping

·      White wax or a very pail coloured tea light

·      Circle template with a minimum of 4 sizes of circles (there will be a video of how to make one)
