We all have embossing folders in our collections, but have you used them lately?  Join Krafty Kris for exciting ways to use ink with your folders and have you looking at them in a different way.   

Techniques will include:

·      Dry embossing tips and tricks

·      Embossing and spray inks

·      Splatter and wet embossing techniques

·      Heat emboss resist

·      Ink blending

Class will be held in a private Facebook group.  A Facebook account is required.  Homework posts, questions-and-answers and student sharing will all take place in this group. Class video will be recorded and available in this group when class is complete.

This is an ACCESS ONLY class and does not include a kit or supplies.  Registration in this class will not be included in free shipping of your order.

STUDENT SUPPLIES

Listed below are the supplies needed to successfully participate in the class.  You may choose to use other supplies, however please note that results may vary.

·      3 different embossing folders – one geometric, one floral and one textured

o   Prefer that at least one be a 3D embossing folder

o   Kris will be using: Pink & Main 2D Leaves, Spellbinders 3D Mandala Blooms, Sizzix Tim Holtz 3D Engraved

·      Diecutting machine and plates (Spellbinders Platinum SIX, Sizzix Big Shot or other)

·      Basic crafting tools

·      80lb white smooth cardstock

·      Spray ink in a variety of colours (3 or more)

o   Kris will be using Tim Holtz Mica Sprays: Peppermint, Jack O’Lantern, Winterberry, Bubbling Cauldron, Treelot, Hollyberry and Flickering Candle

·      Ink pads in a variety of colours

o   Kris will be using Distress Inks:  Kitsch Flamingo, Candied Apple, Crackling Campfire, Peeled Paint, Rustic Wilderness, Forest Moss

·      Embossing Ink Pad (WOW! Or Versamark) and Clear Embossing powder

·      2 additional colours of embossing powder to compliment florals

·      Small brayer

·      Blending brushes or foam blender - variety of sizes

·      Spritz bottle with water

·      Paper towel

·      Die sentiments and sentiment stamps for finishing
