Many of us have fallen in love with Josh Griffith’s Illustrated people and creating personalized cards has been fun and addictive. In this class follow-up class, we take the next step and add scenes and context to our creations. We'll explore "layering" our people in groups by practicing masking techniques, and create backgrounds by adding both stamped and free-hand scenery elements.
This is an ACCESS PASS online class on Zoom, with video replay provided after class is complete. You do not have to have taken our first class in order to participate in this one. Beginners are welcome.
There will be no kit for this class and you will use the supplies you have already purchased. Sheri will be using Illustrated Woman and Illustrated Man stamp sets, plus Custom Woodlands stamp in her Prism Studios watercolour book.
SUPPLIES BEING USED IN CLASS
- At least one "people builder" stamp by Josh Griffith - preferably one man set and one woman set
- One background stamp set
- Prism Studios watercolour book or watercolour paper
- Paint brushes, water reactive inks (Distress, 49 and Market, Concord and 9th, etc) or watercolour paints
- Versafine Onyx Black or Versafine Clair Nocturne stamping ink - any waterproof black ink
- Waterproof black pen/marker
- Post-it notes or masking paper
- Stamping blocks
